Artist Frank McNab:
“When I was asked by The Distillers’ Art Limited if there was a whisky that might inspire a painting my thoughts immediately turned to Craigellachie. My reasons might not be immediately obvious as I’ve long associated the whisky with the eponymous bridge at Craigellachie. It was built by Thomas Telford in 1814 and is singularly elegant. I’ve long admired it and it was a delight to head north to whisky country to draw and paint it. I hope that you enjoy the view with a glass of Craigellachie in your hand.”
Whisky Curator George Thomson:
“The image of the bridge over the great river Spey captures perfectly the essence of place in the context of a truly great malt whisky.”
