I always enjoy the riddles and layers of meaning in Frank McNab’s paintings. In one of his best known paintings he leaves a trail of visual clues to identify a murderer. In this painting “Leopards of the Moon” he depicts a vision of the poet Yeats as he imagines the poem “Lines Written in Dejection”.
